Splendid piece of vintage English made plastic. Small round pot with faceted base and ornate ogee edged lid. It's a clear brown tortoiseshell colour with barely a mark on it. Date estimate 1950s/60s.

Vintage Hand Painted Sugar Bowl - Toni Raymond Pottery

Small sugar bowl by Toni Raymond Pottery, handpainted in an orange speckle. I'm not sure if it had a lid at one time but it will survive without one. There is a small chip on the underside of the rim that barely notices and otherwise it's in very good condition,

Large and Heavy Wooden Vase or Planter

Large wooden vase or planter, hand turned by I would imagine a hobbyist, despite the old label on the base (the address no longer exists, the site is now occupied by a health centre). The bowl is impressively heavy as in fact it's almost solid, the inside having only been hollowed out by the width of the internal neck diameter (approx 6.5cm and 9cm deep, as opposed to the 13cm total height. The neck is well turned and fairly smooth, the body rather less so although the shape is pleasing to the eye. There are a couple of cracks on one side but they don't appear too serious although one does extend a couple of inches into the body. In some respects it is unfinished and would I think suit another hobbyist or turner as there is plenty of wood left to work. I'm not sure of the timber - possibly oak.

Very nice stoneware sugar bowl or jam/preserve pot in a dark green/khaki glaze and slotted lid. It is marked on the base but I have been unable to trace the potter. It doesn't look to have been used although the glaze is crazed on the inside.

Attractive small pot or vase with scooped and scalloped sides made by Aldridge Pottery for Purbeck Gifts of Poole. There are floral transfers on each side, very much in the Aldrifge style and apart from a piece of paper stuck to the inside surface is in excellent condition.

Small souvenir type pot, eggcup or paper clip tidy, personalised for "David". There is a mark on the base in green but it can't be made out - it's possibly Devon ware of one sort. Apart from some crazing it's in very good condition.

Vintage Retro Swedish Sven Jonson Designed Facett Posy Vase - Gustavsberg

Lovely small oval shaped posy vase from the "Facett" range by Gustavsberg of Sweden. Designed by the late Sven Jonson (1919 -1989). It's in a brown glaze with a silver and gold painted floral relief design. Marked on the base with Facett 6 and with the original Sven Jonson foil label. In excellent condition.

Hand Carved Wooden Lidded Jar

Small wooden lidded pot, made from what is probably sheesham wood and with a hand carved floral band around the middle. The lid is also engraved with a star design. The lid fits well and apart from the odd water drip stain it's in very good condition. Measurements are approximate:13cm x 7cm base

Small Earthenware Pot - Zambia

Small earthenware pot with a blue speckled glaze interior. It is slightly irregular and has impressed patterns in the style of ethnic decorated pottery on the outside surface. it is incised "Zambia" on the base. It is possibly a souvenir piece from that country but in reality could be from anywhere so I make no claims otherwise. It is though a pleasing piece.

Lovely small stoneware vase in a very pale blue wash with an olive design that has been incised into the surface and then hand coloured. Very distinctive. It is marked on the base with a CG but I cannot trace the mark.

Vintage Studio Pottery Planter - Alunglam?

Hand thrown studio pottery stoneware planter. Circular design around the outside on an ochre background. It is inscribed on the base with what appears to be "Alunglam Pottery 1983". I've tried variations on this but still can't come up with anything. I think it may possibly be Welsh (Glamorgan?) but I would be grateful for any information. It's in excellent condition.

Retro Iridescent Orange Sugar Bowl - PALT Czechoslovakia

Retro iridescent orange sugar bowl from PALT, then of Czechoslovakia (or Czecho-Slovakia as stated by the backstamp). It is impressed 372 on the base. The colour, white interior and black rim give it an almost enameled look. Very small flea bite on the rim otherwise very good.

Owl Shaped Ceramic Pot

Small owl shaped pot, the head of shich is the lid. It's not slotted for a spoon so it could have a variety of functions - jam or marmalade or mustard or paperclips. Or just stick him on your shelf with your premium bonds in. Unmarked on the base apart from a QC sticker but in excellent condition.

Vintage Grey Lustre Vase - Prinknash

Beautiful hand thrown spherical vase by Prinknash Abbey Pottery in their popular grey lustre glaze. It has the black ink round backstamp and although there is no real guide to dating Prinknash ware I would imagine this to be of fairly decent vintage - early 1960 perhaps.

Hand painted two handled pot with the base mark "2978" in what appears to be a German or Austrian style. It's quite squat so would be ideal for large posies and apart from what looks to be original shrinkage of the colour around the rim, is in excellent condition.

Large and Chunky Stoneware Lidded Pot

Large and very substantial stoneware pot in a brown drip glaze. The lid is slightly too small for the pot, leaving a slight slit when moved around and the walls are very thick, making it very heavy. It's possibly an amateur piece although it is marked "MW". Nevertheless it's a an interesting piece and quite pleasing to look at.

Small round stoneware pot in a studio pottery style. The rim of the base and the lid are glazed, as are the inside of the base and the centre of the lid. The design on the lid is incised and the the glaze has crazed. No makers name or mark but in excellent condition.
