Vintage Plant Pot and Matching Saucer - Dragon Pottery?

SOLD

Matching plant pot and saucer set that is unmarked but is white earthenware and has a colourway and sgraffito pattern very reminiscent of those of the Dragon Pottery of Rhayader. Dragon, along with a few other potteries, also made ware marked for Dee Cee of the Midlands in the 1960s so it's entirely possible this could be one of theirs but I would be quite confident of the Dragon origin. The pot is a little stained and the saucer mildly crazed in the centre but it's still a fine looking piece

All measurements approx:
8cm high, 12.5cm wide pot diameter

Vintage Handpainted Blue Vase - Dragon Pottery Rhayader

Mid-sized vase by the popular and highly collectable Dragon Pottery of Rhayader, Wales. This is in the less common blue colouring. It is crazed, as is fairly usual, but someone has stood a pink felt-tip pen inside it and the stain has spread through the crazing and the base resulting in a penny sized pink smudge on the underside as well as a stain inside. Can't see it in normal usage though but it may indicate that it won't be that good at holding water. Dried flowers only!

11.5cm x 9cm

Vintage Small Blue and White Vase - Dragon Pottery, Rhayader

SOLD

Small earthenware vase from the Dragon Pottery in Rhayader, Wales. Its blue and occasionally green rings are over an off white ground with sgraffito flowers marked into the top banding. It has been used - there's some light crazing and it looks like a leaky pen has been stored inside it at one time but otherwise it's actually in very good condition. I usually take a picture of the base but there isn't much to see apart from a small part of a very faint circular Dragon mark. Certainly one for the Dragon Colletors among you.
