Vintage Handpainted Vase - Jersey Pottery

Vintage hand painted vase by Jersey Pottery. he design is a bit Jersey standard, with circles and cat's eyes but there's also some German inspired fat lava stuff going on too,with black dripping glaze and wax resist! Striking looking and apart from some all over crazing, in great condition.

Small Stoneware Handle-less Jug - Jersey Pottery

Small stoneware jug with unglazed body and no handle. The top, spout and inside are glazed brown and there is an impressed circular design on one side. Cork protector on the base that is stamped with the 3 lions stamp and this is over the usual mark (the cork slipped off while I was washing it - it has re-affixed with the existing adhesive and is very fast). The matt surface has a few marks that may remove with cleaning but otherwise it's in very good condition.

Small handpainted saucer, perhaps from a sauce jug. Dark green ring on an off-white background. Will fit an item with a 4.5cm diameter base.  Slightly crazed but otherwise in very good condition.

Conical handpainted ceramic vinegar bottle from Jersey Pottery. Decorated in a green leaf pattern the stopper still has the original seal which while discoloured, still functions well. Apart from some crazing it's in excellent condition.

Vintage Candle Holder and Posy Ring - Jersey Pottery

White earthenware posy ring candle holder with hand painted aquamarine and green design in what is very much the Jersey style of leaf shaped outlines. The base is unglazed and "Jersey Pottery C.I." is inscribed, alongside an "M" shaped potter's or decorator's mark.

Vintage Large Planter - Jersey Pottery

Large planter in unglazed stoneware with indented circles and lines in one of the Jersey "House" designs. It's glazed brown on the inside and is not entirely round, being slightly squared off, and will take a pot of around 16cm maximum diameter across the top. It does have a couple of faults - there's a "bubble" on the inside bottom and a slight dent on the outside surface. These are original defects and in all other respects it's perfect. The base has the original cork covering, stamped with the pottery mark. Very heavy item and would prefer collection if possible but will post through Parcelforce 48 if required.

Vintage Large Milk Jug - Jersey Pottery

Spherical milk jug (which I think has been used as a vase) by Jersey Pottery. It's a brown wash over plain white with sgraffito designs in a band around the top half. It also features the Jersey coat of arms. Crazed otherwise in very good condition.
