Vintage Large Black Window Vase - 93A - Dartmouth Pottery
Superb
wide black window vase by Dartmouth Pottery. Dating from between the
late 1950s and the pottery's closure in 2002 this is shape number 93A.
It has some mild staining through wear on the inside but externally it's
excellent. Magnificent piece.

Vintage Multi Coloured Marbled Window Vase - A529 Shape Crown Devon
Fantastic
two-handled window vase (A529 shape) in a subdued multi coloured
marbled effect with yellow being the dominant colour. The backstamp on
the base is barely visible but it is the standard semi-circular one in
use from around 1939. The style and colouring of this suggest any time
from then onwards, really. There is a short crack at the top join of one
handle but I don't think it is too deep as the "ring" isn't affected
and there's no discernible creaking if you put a strain on it. In all
other respects it's in excellent condition.

Vintage Pink Lustreware Majestic Window Vase - Sadler
SOLD
Wide, boat shaped window vase in the Majestic pattern by Sadler. It is finished in pink lustre glaze with gilded handles and edge. Unusually, it still has the dedicated wire lattice arranging frame. The gilding is a touch worn in places, especially around the pedestal. There is also an original notch in one of the scallop 'v's on the rim near one of the handles. A very fine hairline crack, barely visible, has extended from this for a cm or two but it doesn't appear to be threatening the integrity of the vase. The Sadler impression on the base is of pre WW2 vintage but the plastic coating of the wire frame would seem to negate that era and I suspect this may be possibly be post-war. Nice looking piece though .
