Vintage Log Effect Mug - Wade

Very robust treacle glazed log effect mug by Wade England. It is very heavy (490g on its own) and quite thick and the backstamp I think dates it to around the early 1950s. In excellent condition.

Vintage Pub Ashtray by Wade - Nelson Tipped Cigarettes

Vintage blue ceramic pub ashtray advertising Nelson cigarettes, from what I can gather, a tipped alternative to Senior Service. I don't remember them from my smoking career (approx 1977-2012) so I'm guessing this is a 1960s vintage - the Wade Regicor backstamp dates from the late 1950s - mid '60s. In excellent condition.

Vintage Tall Slender Mug - Wade Ireland

Tall slender mug by Wade, Ireland. Quite heavy with typical khaki glaze with blue tinges (the line of blue around the base almost glows). The backstamp I think dates it to the 1950s but I always advise caution when attributing dates. It's in splendid condition.

Small blue/green shamrock decorated small jug by Wade Ireland. Backstamp dates back to the mid 1950s although it was used for the duration of the design so could be several years younger. In excellent condition.

Vintage Viking Bowl with Original Box - Wade

SOLD

Viking longship shaped porcelain bowl by Wade. In pretty much unused condition and still in the original box (blue and orange version) with packing tissue. The box is in very good condition with only a small tear to one corner and a little wear to the inside of the lid hinge. The tissue has seen better days!

Large Blue Brown No 5 Father Tortoise Trinket Box - Wade

Blue brown tortoise trinket box, No 5 on base which I believe is the "Large, Father" size. There is a tiny chip on the tip of its tail, which is a shame as otherwise it's in perfect condition.

Small, squared pin tray/dish by Wade with a red vintage fire engine design on the face. Somewhat crazed and a couple of small drop outs on the gold rim but otherwise fine.

Ceramica Billy Bottle Oven - Wade

Caramel coloured "Billy Bottle Oven" by Wade. This one has the "Ceramica" mark on it and although I'm not absolutely certain I think this was a souvenir of the ill-fated Millennium Fund financed exhibition of that name that ran for a few years in Stoke on Trent until a couple of years ago (closed early because nobody went. Sad). In perfect condition.
