Vintage Small Terracotta Posy Vase - Artisan

SOLD

Small posy vase in an unglazed terracotta. It is well thrown but the impressed triangle, lines and dots pattern is a little haphazard. Despite this it has quite a rustic charm. It has a definite African feel but that may just be coincidental. It has a few little dents and scratches from throwing but no chips or cracks. Some staining but again, this may be original.  7cm x 8.5cm

Vintage Small Vase - Gordon Fox/Kentmere

Small Terracotta and brown glaze vase with impressed floral and lined pattern on the side. It is signed "Fox" on the base and the similarity of the pattern to others I've researched I'm confident this is by Gordon Fox of the Kentmere Pottery in Cumbria. It's in excellent condition although there are some small pops in the glaze.

8cm x 7cm

Vintage 1970s Harrods Cinnamon Jug - Hornsea

SOLD

This is a handle-less milk jug from the Cinnamon range by Hornsea designed exclusively for Harrods in the 1970s by David Queensberry and Martin Hunt. It is a smooth terracotta finish with a ridged cream ring and spout and interior. A lot of seconds were released onto the market in the early 1980s but this appears to be in excellent condition.

9cm x 9cm (incl spout)

Vintage Earthenware Jug - Lakes Cornish Pottery

SOLD

Simple plain earthenware/terracotta jug from the renowned Lakes Pottery of Truro. It's unglazed on the outside but clear glazed inside meaning it can be used. Make the outside wet and as the water evaporates it will keep the contents cool, too. A couple of marks on the outside from handling and the glaze is a little crazed but otherwise fine. Lakes closed in 1992 so these are becoming more collectable.

10cm x 7.5cm
