We look for anything you might think is fun, interesting, beautiful, new, old or odd. Vintage and almost new clothes, ceramics, treen, ephemera, books and costume jewellery. If it fits in a box, we'll sell it.
Mottled
bright yellow milk jug by Sadler. Fairly large, it bears the ribbon
backstamp used post 1947. Condition is great although there is some
faint crazing visible.
The
famous glug jug. Or gluggle, or glug glug or gurgle, depending on who
makes them. It glugs though - try it. Fish shaped, brown honeycomb glaze
and, I think, the medium sized one. In fantastic condition with the
original (unreadable) gold label still affixed.
Medium
sized brass Cornish Piskie, probably at one time part of a poker stand
as there's a drilled hole in the base. In good condition although quite a
bit of polish residue in the recesses.
Lovely
medium sized tree and fawn spill vase from the Fauna Royal range by
Hornsea. It's marked "Frisky" on the back and has the number 47 stamped
on the base. The Fauna Royal range was produced between 1960 & 1967.
This vase in exhibition condition though could do with a gentle clean
to remove dust.
