Dee Cee Commissioned Small Swirl Pattern Vase - Dümler & Breiden
SOLD
Small vase in the familiar cream, green & brown swirl pattern used by the German company Dümler & Breiden. This one though bears the barely visble stamp of Dee Cee, a Birmingham importer owned by Mr Desmond Cooper who commissioned ware from many well known potteries both in the UK and abroad. Slight novelty in that it has an impressed fingerprint just under the rim but in all other respects it's fine.
Measurements: 8cm (h) x 7.5 cm

Vintage Two-Handled Vase - Dümler & Breiden 1096
Late
1950s - early 1960s vase by the German maker Dümler & Breiden.
Dating is difficult with D & B as they didn't acknowledge partition
and use "W.Germany". It is pattern number 480 in a speckled grey white
finish with a brown band sandwiched between two textured bands in a nod
to the burgeoning fat lava style. There is some blue speckling, albeit
in a rather haphazard style and mainly around one handle. This handle
also has a bit of a graze with some glaze removed. There is also a small
unglazed patch on the rim so it is my hunch that this is a second. Most
of the irregularities are on one side so if it's turned round it looks
fine!

Oval Crescent Shaped Retro West German Bowl Dümler & Breiden 1096
Lovely
1960s style oval boat shaped bowl by Dümler & Breiden of Germany.
It is Pattern No 1096 with a brown drip underside and coffee and cream
run inside with a gold rim. It has the familiar crossed sword with D
& B pommels of the mark on the base. Apart from some wear to the
thick gold rim it's in very good condition.
24cm x 14cm. Ends are 10cm high, the middle, 5cm (which I think corresponds to the 5 on the base)
