Vintage Posy Basket - Crown Ducal

Posy basket in cream and brown with floral pattern on the inside and green twisted rope handle. The backstamp was used from the 1930s until the 1950s and the general condition would fit with this. It has lost some of the detail to the flowers and there is some ingrained grime, especially to the handle which I am in the process of removing. It is crazed all over but once cleaned will present well.

Vintage "Astra" Sugar Bowl - Crown Ducal

Sugar Bowl in the "Astra" pattern by Crown Ducal. In tan with circular designs and white drip glaze, it has the Crown Ducal stamp and the diamond shaped AG Richardson stamp on the base. The marque ended in 1974 so this is 1960s/70s vintage - another pattern presumably inspired by Portmeirion's Totem design. In excellent condition.

Please note this is "Astra" as opposed to the similar "Concorde Astra".

Vintage Orange Tree Egg Cup - Crown Ducal - AJ Richardson 711270

Single egg cup from AJ Richardson's Crown Ducal Orange Tree range. The design was by Norman Keats and was introduced in 1925 under the registered number 711270. There is a small stain on the inside lip but I can't see a crack or chip from which it could have come, also the registered design decal has been applied a couple of times and sloppily but in all other respects it looks fine.

Vintage Art Deco Milk Jug - Crown Ducal

Lovely milk jug in cream with orange and grey hand painted flowers and lines. The impressed stamp is 36 and indeed the shape is a common one with the flattened handle and slightly raised spout in archetypal deco style. However I just cannot find the design name - maybe somebody out there can help? Again I am unsure of the age, possibly either side of WW2 or slightly later. There is a small flake of paint missing on the top of the handle otherwise it's in very good condition.

Vintage Rington's Tea Petit Pierre Vase - Crown Ducal

Dating from the 1950s/60s this is a mid-sized urn type vase featuring "Petit Pierre", a young street urchin, produced by Crown Ducal for Rington's Tea. It has the Rington's emblem on the base and bar a few dark marks inside is in excellent condition.

Vintage Posy/Candy Basket - Crown Ducal/A.G. Richardson

Typical Crown Ducal posy or candy basket, pale green on the outside, yellow inside. Can't date this accurately, it's a common pattern, 2, produced in a variety of colours and over a while. It's in great condition though with no chips, cracks or marks.
