Antique Sprigged Blueware Jug with repaired handle - Copeland late Spode
White earthenware jug with blue body and Grecian scene in white sprigged figures by Copeland. The backstamp is the "Frank's Boat" one of a design used between 1894 & 1910. The RD No, 180288, refers to this mark and not the pot design. Unfortunately the handle has been broken and repaired using what appears to be epoxy resin. It looks to be a clean enough break so a skilled restorer may be able to do something with it. There also looks to be a 3/4" hairline crack on the inside of the spout. Despite the damage it's very clean and ind still very nice visually.
11.5cm (h) x 15cm
