Splendid wooden Havana cigar box for Barudo de Luxe cigars. the box is very well made, certainly a cut above those I usually find. The sides extend into four feet and it slopes very slightly backwards. It has decent brass hinges and an ornate latch that still works. The name and logo is branded onto the door. Now, I have only found three references on t'internet to Barudo cigars; two come from advertisements from 1915 editions of Punch and one from a 1920 Times. I find it hard to believe that this box could be the best part of 100 years old as it's in such good condition but it could well be. There's only one or two marks of any note and they're only really surface scuffs rather than scratches and will disappear under patina with time. Superb item.
