Miniature
handpainted Oldcourt Ware colour lustre jug by J. Fryer. It has a very distinctive downswept and deco inspired handle and I think the design may be
"Avon" although it is not stamped as such. The backstamp suggests late
1950s - 1960. There is a small chip to the base which is
only noticeable in normal use once you know it's there but apart from
this and the usual crazing it's in excellent condition.
