Owl Shaped Ceramic Pot



Small owl shaped pot, the head of shich is the lid. It's not slotted for a spoon so it could have a variety of functions - jam or marmalade or mustard or paperclips. Or just stick him on your shelf with your premium bonds in. Unmarked on the base apart from a QC sticker but in excellent condition.

Vintage Large Flour Canister and Scoop - Toni Raymond Pottery



Very large worktop flour storage jar by Toni Raymond Pottery of Babbacombe, Devon. Finished in the familiar blue flower design and with the original wooden lid and seal, it also comes with the original pale blue scoop. The lid could do with rubbing down and revarnishing but otherwise it's in excellent condition.

Vintage Large Floral Lustre Ware Vase, 1960s - Oldcourt Ware





SOLD

Large-ish handpainted Oldcourt Ware lustre vase by J. Fryer of Tunstall. Familiar coloured brush strokes with gold edged flowers on one side and a gilded rim. The backstamp dates it to roughly the 1960s. It has some light crazing and the gilding around the rim is a little worn but otherwise it's in excellent condition.

Vintage Medium Sized Grey Lustre Vase - Prinknash Pottery

A mid-sized hand-thrown vase by Prinknash Abbey Pottery in their signature grey lustre glaze. It's a simple round base with a trumpet bell neck and mouth. Stamped "Prinknash  England Hand Made" on the unglazed base. Date is uncertain but probably pre-1997. Condition is excellent.

Vintage Sandringham House Souvenir Mug - Holkham Pottery




SOLD

Souvenir mug from HM the Queen's private residence of Sandringham House in Norfolk. It's by Holkham Hall Pottery, which closed in 2007 after 56 years. It is brown glaze in the Holkham style and features the Sandringham crest on one side and the Prince of Wales' feathers on the other (Edward VII, while Prince of Wales, was the first owner of the hall). It's in excellent condition.

Modern Pewter Tankard with Ornate Handle - Wentworth



Modern one pint tankard by A.R. Whitworth, made during the last 20 years or so, It has a rather ornate handle of a pattern still used by the company. It does have a few marks, mainly from polishing and some light scratching from rubbing against other items during storage. Many of these marks will buff out pretty well. Brand new these retail for around £25. Please note, while designated as 1 pint, it does not have a certification mark.

Vintage Mint Sauce Jug & Saucer - Philip Laureston - Babbacombe Pottery



Vintage mint sauce jug and saucer from the Babbacombe Pottery, Devon. It is hand painted by Philip Laureston so would date it to pre-1997/8. Good clean pair with only a couple of small glaze cracks.

Vintage Scottish Studio Pottery Bowl - Largo, Anne Lightwood

Beautifully thrown small bowl - cereal bowl size - by Anne Lightwood of Largo Pottery, Fife. Plain on the outside, light blue speckled on the inside. The backstamp dates this to between 1972 and 1984. In excellent condition.

Vintage Spring Onion Storage Jar - Babbacombe Pottery Toni Raymond



Tall square section spring onion jar by Babbacombe Pottery. It's in the blue chrysanthemum style with the black script favoured by the Toni Raymond Pottery, who took over Babbacombe in 1967. Apart from a little crazing here and there and one tiny chip (1mm) on the base it's in good clean condition.

Large Hand Carved Wooden Waterfowl

Very nice handcarved wooden water bird; I'm not sure of the species - it seems a bit of a mixture. Quite heavy, stained reddish brown it's quite primitive in style yet still an accomplished piece. Felt pads on the base and nice ornament in great condition.  20cm x 16cm x 8cm

Vintage Studio Pottery Posy Ring - W. Jones



Very accomplished small posy vase in a mixture of brown and green glazes. It is marked "Jones" on the base with either a letter W or monogram WJ alongside another letter, perhaps another J, all above the date, 1976. It is in excellent condition. Indeed, what is striking is that the footring is almost perfect, quite smooth apart from one small dent from throwing, and very clean.

Hand Painted Plate w/ Cairn Terrier - A. Orford



Hand painted gold rimmed china plate featuring what can only be described as an impossibly cute Cairn Terrier delivering a letter. It is quite nice and relatively accomplished although definitely amateur. Would definitely appeal to a Cairn lover though. It is signed on the back with a capital A and Orford 1990

Vintage Celery Storage Jar - Babbacombe Pottery Toni Raymond



Tall square section celery jar by Babbacombe Pottery. It's in the blue chrysanthemum style with the broad stroke script favoured by the Toni Raymond Pottery, who took over Babbacombe in 1967. There are two small chips on the bottom edge, both near corners, one at the front, the other at the back. Neither are serious and aren't too visible in normal use and are just minor battle scars. Otherwise it's in good clean condition.
