Vintage Welsh Pottery Posy or Dried Flower Vase - Padarn Llanberis Pottery

Large and very heavy hollow ball shaped stoneware vase with concave top pierced with over a dozen holes for either posies or dried flowers. It's by Padarn Pottery of Llanberis in Snowdonia. I can't find much about the pottery although I have had some of their items decorated in the dendritic/mocha style. In excellent condition although there is a faint bit of marker residue that may well be removed come sale.

Vintage Green Posy Vase Govancroft Stoneware

Dating from around 1950 this is a small green fan shaped posy vase by Govancroft Stoneware of Tollcross, Glasgow. Very substantial with thick green glaze that has bubbled in a couple of places. Apart from that it's in excellent condition.

Vintage Retro Swedish Sven Jonson Designed Facett Posy Vase - Gustavsberg

Lovely small oval shaped posy vase from the "Facett" range by Gustavsberg of Sweden. Designed by the late Sven Jonson (1919 -1989). It's in a brown glaze with a silver and gold painted floral relief design. Marked on the base with Facett 6 and with the original Sven Jonson foil label. In excellent condition.

Vintage Small Terracotta Posy Vase - Artisan

Small posy vase in an unglazed terracotta. It is well thrown but the impressed triangle, lines and dots pattern is a little haphazard. Despite this it has quite a rustic charm. It has a definite African feel but that may just be coincidental. It has a few little dents and scratches from throwing but no chips or cracks. Vintage Studio Pottery Posy Ring - W. Jones

Very accomplished small posy vase in a mixture of brown and green glazes. It is marked "Jones" on the base with either a letter W or monogram WJ alongside another letter, perhaps another J, all above the date, 1976. It is in excellent condition. Indeed, what is striking is that the footring is almost perfect, quite smooth apart from one small dent from throwing, and very clean.

Studio Pottery Posy Vase - Crat (?) Pottery

Very pretty multi-coloured drip glazed posy vase. Fairly wide neck and three groups of three smaller holes around the side. It's impressed with a stamp on the base but I can't quite make out the lettering - it looks like Crat Pottery but I can't find any reference to that name anywhere. Regardless, it's in excellent condition.

Handpainted Studio Pottery Posy Vase or Pen Stand

Haven't quite made my mind up about this as I think it has multi-use capability! It's a round, slightly conical earthenware receptacle with seven holes in the top and decorated with brown lines and green and orange dots. I originally thought it was a posy vase until I looked through the holes and saw all the ink marks on the inside. It is entirely up to you how you use it! There's a in impressed mark on the base that could be a BP monogram or a German ß. There's one small mark on the top and most of the orange dots appear to have white marks on them. These appear to be quite normal and otherwise it is in very good condition.
