Small Studio Pottery Pin Tray - Japanese?

Beautiful square pin tray from featuring a leaf motif. It is beautifully made, very Japanese in look and feel with a tenmoku style glaze.  Indeed there is a small mark on the underside of one corner that looks to be a Japanese character but I can't make it out clearly. It is in excellent condition.

Empty Miniature Scraffito Liqueur Bottle - 28 Drioli

A handpainted miniature collectable liqueur bottle by Drioli. It has a single gold painted handle with scraffito rural and abstract floral designs on the black band around the middle. In very good condition although a couple of bits of wear to the gilding.

Vintage Miniature Welsh Lustre Jug - Southcliffe - Creigiau

SOLD

Lovely small cream jug in typical Welsh gold lustre finish with blue interior. It's marked (faintly) Sutherland Creigiau which could date it to around 1947 as the name changed to Creigiau Pottery a year or so later. If this is indeed the case this is a lovely example of a very early piece from one of the early Welsh studios.

Miniature Brass Coal Scuttle Planter

Small but heavy miniature coal scuttle with hinged handle. It's made with a very thick grade plate meaning it's quite robust. The loop looks to have been soldered on as an afterthought although it could just be worn. This belonged to a friend who used it as a small planter for many years so there are some blemishes and stains and a little verdigris but some time on a buffer will get it shining again.

Miniature Studio Earthenware Pottery Jug - Geoffrey Small

Exquisite little earthenware jug with a white wash and brushwork flower head in brown. It also has a brown design on the small base. It is stamped "G.S.". The general consensus seems to be that this is Geoffrey Small who potted out of Luton until 2002. It is in excellent condition. 5.5cm x 8cm (across handle)

Miniature pub from the Countryside Collection by Tey Pottery of Lenwade, Norfolk. This pub is the untimbered version, the "White Horse". It still has the  original label on the base. The model is in excellent condition.

Vintage Miniature New Devon Pottery Blueware Jug - Hexham Abbey

Miniature New Devon Pottery Blueware souvenir jug, inscribed with "Hexham Abbey Founded 674". In generally excellent condition. The dark marks in the photo have been removed, the white patches on the handle appear to be pieces of missing blue blaze although they don't really seem to be chips. There is a glazed over chip on the inside of the rim - this kind of fault was quite common with these mass-produced items.

Small Indian brass kettle with large hinged handle.Engraved floral pattern around the body.  Quite solid, it does have the odd small bump and dent but is in very good condition overall and shines up nicely.

Pretty miniature mortar & pestle (I think!) in the blue and white Delft style by Elesva of Holland. In typical style it has a flower on one side and a windmill on the opposite. It's in lovely condition.

Very nice little bud vase in the shape of a ewer or pitcher. It has a blue and green drip glaze over the spout and handle, the base being speckled brown. There is a number 5 on the base suggesting it's maybe a part of a series. No other clues as to the origin or maker. In excellent condition.

Miniature Cobalt Blue and Gold - Bleu de Four Or - Swan - Limoges

Splendid little cobalt blue and gold swan vase from Limoges. The breast and neck are blue, the eyes, beak adn wings as well as the inside is gold. Please note I use the word "vase" with reservation - it's very small! It is marked "Veritable Bleu de Four de Limoges France" on the base and is in great condition.

Set of Miniature Blue Vases - Garuda Indonesian Airlines Souvenir

A set of seven miniature vases in two-tone blue glaze. They are individually numbered on the bases, 1-9 although numbers 2 & 4 are missing. They each have a small white eagle logo on them, which I think is the logo for Garuda Indonesia Airlines. All in excellent condition.
