Lovely small and squat stoneware vase in a very pale blue wash with olive design incised into the surface and then coloured. Very distinctive. It is marked on the base with a CG but I cannot trace the mark.

Official illustrated paperback guidebook to Bruges, Belgium. Titled "Bruges, City of Art", it is in English and contains 126 pages of text and black and white of the sights and attractions of the medieval city with many contemporary advertisements. It is the sixth edition, published in 1961. It is in very good condition with only a little age related wear to the edges and corners

Vintage Pan American - Pan Am Pocket Directory and map of Rome - 1955

Pocket directory and map of Rome from Pan American Airways or Pan Am. It has several pages plus a fold out map of the Eternal City with the directory continuing on the reverse of the map. It has a few age related marks and there's a small hole in one of the folds in the map but otherwise it's in very good condition.

Antique Ironstone Milk Jug - Anthony Shaw, Burslem

Antique milk jug with ornate handle by Anthony Shaw of Burslem in a rather sturdy and undecorated white ironstone, "Stone China". The backstamp dates it to approximately between 1860 and 1882. At one time it would have had a hinged pewter lid but this has broken off leaving only the two lugs still in situ either side of the handle. Apart from a little crazing it's in excellent condition for its age. When I acquired it it was covered in a horrible orange paint and I have done my best to remove it all but there may be the odd rogue spot in the recesses.

Vintage Small Copper Lustre Jug by Albert Hallam - Beswick 1553-3

Vintage 1950s Albert Hallam designed jug in copper lustre on black. Small, conical in shape it's in pretty good condition with only a little bit of wear to the lustre around the base (the water droplet in the pictures has now gone, I'm sure be pleased to know.

Vintage Brown Honeycomb Glaze Fish Glug Vase or Jug - Fosters

The famous glug jug. Or gluggle, or glug glug or gurgle, depending on who makes them. It glugs though - try it. Fish shaped, brown honeycomb glaze and, I think, the medium sized one. In fantastic condition with the original (unreadable) gold label still affixed.

Studio Pottery Stoneware Candle Holder - Susan Bennett

Rather nice stoneware candle holder by Susan Bennett, potter and gardener of Muswell Hill, North London. It's a lovely tactile shape with a very Japanese looking graduated glaze. It has been used, there is a small ring of ingrained wax around the hole. This will probably come out with some very warm water.

Vintage Handpainted Rabbit Egg Cup - England

Lovely vintage egg cup with handpainted rabbit as the centrepiece. It's impressed "England" on the base but I'm not sure who the maker is. It's similar to Keele St but they are usually marked as such. Any clues? It's in very good condition and I will certainly give it another clean before it's sent out!

Vintage Bunnykins Bathtime Ball Moneybox - Royal Doulton

Spherical money box from the Bunnykins range showing bunny bathtime scenes. It's dated 1988 and has the original stopper. This displays very little wear so it looks unlikely it was repeatedly opened to count any contents. Decals all in good condition and no other marks (the smudgy surface marks that show in the pictures have now been removed).

Vintage Orange Tree Egg Cup - Crown Ducal - AJ Richardson 711270

Single egg cup from AJ Richardson's Crown Ducal Orange Tree range. The design was by Norman Keats and was introduced in 1925 under the registered number 711270. There is a small stain on the inside lip but I can't see a crack or chip from which it could have come, also the registered design decal has been applied a couple of times and sloppily but in all other respects it looks fine.

A set of four really nice studio pottery mugs with pale blue grey glaze and pastel floral brushwork. There is a mark at the base of the handle but I haven't been able to find a reference for it. It's a stylised "FO" or "FD" - any ideas? In excellent condition, all of them.
