Vintage Old Trentham Sprays Fruit Bowl - D4262 - Royal Doulton
Large fruit or serving bowl in the Old Trentham Sprays pattern by Royal Douton, pattern no D4262. This pattern dates from the 1920s and there is what appears to be an impressed date stamp on the underside of "6 23" which would bear this out. The colours are still quite bright but it is showing signs of wear as one would expect of an 80+ year old piece. No cracks or chips though, only firing marks.
23cm diameter x 7.5cm

Vintage White Milk Jug - Royal Doulton
A
Royal Doulton milk jug in cream/off white with leaf shaped handle
joints and four flutes. It has the "A" backstamp which should date it to
somewhere between 1939 & 1955 and there is a further impressed "48"
on the base. There is a small chip on the front of the footring,
annoying as otherwise it's more or less faultless with only the faintest
of marks visible.

Vintage Small Octagonal Bowl - Indian RN 597783 - Royal Doulton
Sweet octagonal bowl in the "Indian" pattern by Royal Doulton. The Registered Design Number on the base was first used in 1912 and the backstamp dates no later than 1927. There are some other faint marks on the back that may have dated it more accurately but I can't make them out. The number though, 597783, appears also to have been used with other patterns, notably Nankin Blue although I have seen other examples of this pattern with the same number. Condition is fairly good for its age - a couple of small hairline cracks to the edge that appear to have been there for a good number of years as they have become stained, otherwise general age related crazing and a couple of small surface nips to the green edging.
13.5cm diameter

Vintage Small Rose Elegant Plate - Royal Doulton
Small
petit four plate from the Rose Elegans range, discontinued in 1981, by
Royal Doulton. It does not have the blue band but does have an intact
gold edge. There are two very short scratches, about 5mm long, one
barely visible, the other across one of the leaves on the large rose
head. This one has cut through the glaze and is visible. In all other
respects the plate looks fine.

Vintage Bunnykins Bathtime Ball Moneybox - Royal Doulton
SOLD
Spherical money box from the Bunnykins range showing bunny bathtime scenes. It's dated 1988 and has the original stopper. This displays very little wear so it looks unlikely it was repeatedly opened to count any contents. Decals all in good condition and no other marks (the smudgy surface marks that show in the pictures have now been removed).

Large Vintage Leaves Jug/Sauce Boat - Royal Doulton
Vintage
Royal Doulton jug or sauce boat. I think it dates from the late 1930s
but I have not yet been able to find a name for the pattern, which is
russet coloured leaves over a curlicue background on a cream base. The
handle is stepped on the underside of the top join. The mark is the
standard post 1932 one with 13 either side of the crown and a Q
underneath. Decorator's mark, D5921. Condition is good althought there
are some slight rough edges and a couple of tiny cracks around the rim
and the pattern appears worn in a couple of places. The foot ring is
ingrained with dust.

Wild Rose or Roses G Dorothy Dessert Plate - Royal Doulton D6227
One
of Doulton's loveliest designs, the D6227 pattern, Roses G or Wild Rose
was introduced in 1940 and was produced for about 20 years. The
handpainted pink and crimson roses on a blue background is stunning and
timeless. This is a Dorothy Desert Plate and it's in very good
condition. It is crazed as you
might expect but the colours are beautifully strong and there are no
chips or cracks.
