Small Vintage Vase - Aldridge Pottery

A very nice little cream coloured vase by the now defunct Aldridge Pottery of Longton. It carries a picture of a convolvulus type flower, large on one side, a small image on the reverse. In excellent condition.

Beautiful sauce or gravy jug and saucer in the Beauvais pattern by Royal Worcester Palissy. This would have been produced prior to 1976 but is in excellent condition with no visible defects.

Leather £1 Coin Holder - Used - Collectable!

As the current beer tokens are being phased out to be replaced by the new thruppeny bit ones, these will become something of collector's pieces. Why not get in at the start with this prime example? It's an English made leather and metal sprung tube. I have no idea how many coins this holds, I never seem to have enough about me to test it, but looks to be about 15. The leather and gold stamp are in excellent condition, the metal somewhat tired looking with the plating worn away in parts  but still good overall and perfectly serviceable.

Vintage Wishing Well Small Plate or Ashtray - Thomas Lawrence Falcon Ware

Dating from the late 1920s - 1930s this is a small plate or ashtray from the "The Wishing Well" range of Falcon Ware by Thomas Lawrence. It has a hand painted pattern of brickwork and red flowers and greenery and is in very good condition with only very light age-related wear.

Great looking large tankard shaped mug with hammered effect body and ornate handle. This one is in the less familiar orange internal glaze and black/very dark brown outer glaze. It does have some crazing but is in excellent condition otherwise

Large Retro Caramel Coloured Vase

Tall retro looking art ware vase in caramel coloured glaze, drip glazed down the neck and plain, slightly concave walled cylinder bowl. It has a German look although the only mark on the base is "DC 12". It's in great condition though with the only fault being a chip on the rim which appears to have been there since manufacture as it's been glazed over.

Stoneware Candle Holder - With OWLS!!

Excellent stoneware candle holder with a pair of owls sitting on the rim. And that is it. Unmarked and it has been used - I have successfully removed the old candle base but there is still a bit of residue left which I may be able to remove before it's sent. Great novelty item, in fine overall condition.

Vintage Art Deco Bowl - Avon Ware

Beautiful pastel coloured art ware side plate or dish by Avon Ware. It has pale and dark pink flowers with light green leaves and yellow stalks, all in relief on a light peach background. Age is perhaps just pre WWII. It is extensively crazed although this is very fine and not overtly noticeable.

Beautiful crystal marguerite daisy with red centre. This was the Collector's Club renewal gift, I believe for 2000, and belonged to my parents. It has been kept in the original box (under the bath!) so is in excellent condition although without original documentation.

Brown Honeycomb Glaze Mustard Pot - Fosters or Kernewek

A mustard pot in the brown honeycomb glaze redolent of Kernewek or Fosters. Complete with flat slotted lid although no spoon. It is not marked with a name and I make no claim that this is either as there were some very similar products out there; conversely Kernewek or Fosters sometimes did not mark all their ware. It is in excellent condition.

Vintage Art Deco Milk Jug - Crown Ducal

SOLD

Lovely milk jug in cream with orange and grey hand painted flowers and lines. The impressed stamp is 36 and indeed the shape is a common one with the flattened handle and slightly raised spout in archetypal deco style. However I just cannot find the design name - maybe somebody out there can help? Again I am unsure of the age, possibly either side of WW2 or slightly later. There is a small flake of paint missing on the top of the handle otherwise it's in very good condition.

Vintage Little Mermaid Ashtray - Carlsberg

Light blue porcelain ashtray for Carlsberg lager featuring the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen (which was commissioned by the son of the founder of Carlsberg). Unsure of the age of the ashtray. It does have a hairline crack across the rim near the L in Lager and some fine crazing but is otherwise fine.
