Vintage Handpainted Sugar Bowl - Enoch Boulton?

I'm slightly puzzled by this having never encountered one before. On the base of this simple sugar bowl decorated with blue leaves and little raised dots is "Hand Painted by Bo....." I haven't quite worked it out but it could be "Boulton". Enoch Boulton? But when? There's no clue even to the manufacturer or age so I cannot guarantee anything! Please refer to the photos, which are enhanced. If you need any more inf, please contact me. One small chip on the base but otherwise in excellent condition.

Antique Crested China Bowl - Windermere - Grafton China

Small antique crested ware Grafton China bowl by A.B. Jones Ltd. The crest is of Windermere and there is either an agent's or retailer's mark underneath from R.Robinson of Bowness. The backstamp is from the period 1900 - 1913 and apart from some wear to the gold edging around the rim it's in excellent condition.

Small Green Planter - Churchill Pottery

Small green planter/flowerpot in a green woven leaf pattern from Churchill. I'm unfamiliar with a lot of Churchill's output (apart from their dinner plates!) but I don't think it's too recent, perhaps 1970s - 80s. There's a small scrape in the glaze that doesn't look to be a chip, more an unglazed area but otherwise it's in fine condition and looks fine if the fault is turned away.

Vintage Handpainted Cup or Creamer - Enoch Boulton?

I am doubly puzzled by this. It's definitely vintage, possibly 50s or 60s or even earlier and it's hand painted, however we've been unable to decipher the signature although I'm pretty certain it's a B at the start but after I'm clueless. I think it's "Boulton". If so, is it Enoch Boulton? Did he do anything as subdued as these pretty blue and brown leaves with their raised dots? Also, I'm pretty certain it's a coffee cup but Zoe, my partner, thinks it's a jug. In excellent condition although as I'm sure you're aware, I cannot guarantee anything so I am always grateful for any help.

Vintage Haberdashery Hooks and Loops - Trumpet Brand - Original Sealed Box

SOLD

A vintage box of 48 pairs of size 2 extra japanned hooks and loops. They are the "centre spring" design by Trumpet Brand and they are in the original box which is still sealed with the loop of thread that runs around the box and underneath the label. The design of the box and graphics suggest around the 1920s. If that's the case the box is in excellent condition for its age.

Rare Small Stoneware Vase - Clive Phillip Moore

Small stoneware vase with brown leaf shapes and ring around base. It's by Clive Moore, who potted in Urmston, Greater Manchester in the very early 80s and his mark is visible on the front above the base. There is one small chip about 2mm across on the base edge opposite the mark but otherwise it's in very good condition.

Vintage West German Tall Floor Vase - Scheurich 289 - 41

Very large 1960s -70s floor vase by, I think, Scheurich of West Germany. Slightly conical, it's 41cm tall and is embossed with rings of vaguely floral abstract patterns, each one in a different shade of grey/beige. Condition is excellent overall but it could probably do with a good clean.

Please note, I don't use couriers for items this large, heavy and fragile, preferring local collection. I will though deliver within a 20 mile or so radius of Crewe for £10, which is a very competitive price!

Vintage Stoneware Crock Pot or Casserole - Pearson's of Chesterfield

A 3 pint stoneware casserole or crock pot by Pearson's of Chesterfield. Beige, salt-glazed and well used! I have tried to get the food stains out and have largely succeeded. There is still some ingrained and I dare say with a bit off application it can be totally cleaned. The lid, I'm afraid, isn't the original one but it's a Pearson's lid and fits perfectly. I had thought this was fairly vintage but apparently Pearson's didn't start to stamp "Established 1810" until the 1970's but I would hazard a guess and say it's at least 30 years old. The company went under about 20 years ago. Overall condition appears to be very good.

Pair of Hand Carved Sitting Cats

A pair of small, faintly oriental looking sitting cats, hand carved from wood. They are mirror opposites so would be good at either end of a shelf or mantel. Or they'd be good anywhere just because they are actually rather nice. One has a few very small paint dots on but these will remove (I've already got most off) but otherwise they are fine.

Glut Book - How to Cope With Your Surplus Produce - Kathleen Thomas - 1961

Written by Kathleen Turner and compiled from recipes sent in presumably the readers of Farmers' Weekly, this is a Farm Woman's Library Book published by Longacre Press in 1961 and is specifically aimed at dealing with "too much of anything". Fascinating and very much of its time, the most exotic ingredients I can see are a teaspoon of paprika and the occasional clove of garlic. Lots of recipes for pigeons!
