Vintage German or Austrian Squat Double Handled Pot

Hand painted two handled pot with the base mark "2978" in what appears to be a German or Austrian style. It's quite squat so would be ideal for large posies and apart from what looks to be original shrinkage of the colour around the rim, is in excellent condition.

Vintage Small Handpainted Beaker - Schwaz Tirol

SOLD

Unusual inverted bell-shaped beaker with handpainted flower design. The backstamp is rendered largely unreadable as it's been done over the incised marking. From the general style of the stamp and the design I think it's from Schwaz in the Austrian Tirol. I cannot be any more accurate than that I'm afraid. A little crazing on the inner base but otherwise excellent.

Vintage Austrian Handpainted Double Handed Dish - Wechsler Tirolkeramik

Hand painted double handled ironstone dish from Wechsler Tirolkeramik of Schwaz, Austria. The floral design and details are handpainted onto a light brown mottled cream glaze and it's finished in a clear overglaze. Numbers on the base - BD/1 and  942. It's in excellent condition.

Small Black Earthenware Handled Vase with Raffia - Austrian Made

A squat black earthenware vase with a single handle and wide rim that makes it look like a jug without a spout. It has been neatly wrapped with white raffia. On the base it has A9 in large moulded figures with "Made in Austria" in splodgy yellow ink. Not sure how old this is as it's in splendid condition - I have seen similar pieces marked as 50s but the raffia looks to be in too good condition and the base isn't marked at all - unless it's never been moved!

Measurements: 9cm (H) x 12cm diameter incl handle.
Weight with packaging: approx 500.
