Vintage Medium Yellow Milk Jug - Sadler

Mottled bright yellow milk jug by Sadler. Fairly large, it bears the ribbon backstamp used post 1947. Condition is great although there is some faint crazing visible.

Vintage Studio Pottery Vase

Unusually shaped heavy earthenware vase in cream with yellow and green streaks. The glaze is a bit thin in places and has cracked and whether this is deliberate or not I can't obviously tell but it's an interesting effect nonetheless. Still a good looking vase. No potter's mark.

Vintage Yellow and Gold Lined Bone China Sugar Bowl - Aynsley

Bone china sugar bowl by Aynsley. Yellow outside, white inside with gilded scalloped rim and foot, it is not of recent vintage as the mark is not the current syle. The lid in the picture came with it when I acquired it but it isn't original as the glaze is slightly lighter, it doesn't really sit correctly and the hole in the lid suggests it's really from a tea or coffee pot. Let me know if you want it - it shouldn't affect postage. Otherwise the bowl is in fine condition with no major marks or wear.
10.5cm (d) x 8cm diameter

Vintage Art Deco Cream Jug HW 181 - Myott

Small hand painted art deco ware cream jug in the HW 181 pattern by Myott, Son & Co. The backstamp is the Gold Crown Made in England mark used between 1930 and 1942. There is some wear around the rim but the large patch of missing yellow appears to be underglaze.

Vintage Miniature Fluted Sugar "Sunbuff" Sugar Bowl - Grays Pottery

SOLD

Beautiful hand painted sugar bowl in the "Sunbuff" pattern by Gray's Pottery. It is on a fluted buff coloured blank from Johnson Brothers, the stamp for which can be seen beneath the Gray's mark. Quite legitimate as Gray's were decorator's and occasionally their base items were already stamped. This can aid in dating and the combination here puts this to between 1935 & 1945. It's in excellent condition.

Vintage Primula Salt & Pepper Pots - Carlton Ware

SOLD

These are unmarked and I think were once part of a set but I think they are almost certainly Carlton Ware. They are a pair of yellow miniature salt and pepper cellars with a pink primula design. The pepper pot has a small chip on the foot ring but otherwise they are in excellent condition and have the original cork bungs.

Each: 5cm x 4cm

Vintage Small "Salad Ware" Side Plate - Carlton Ware

Small to mid-sized dish in the Carlton Ware "Salad Ware" range. It's a yellow leaf dish with a pair of hand-painted tomatoes. These were produced up to the mid 1980s and it is the standard backstamp so dating is not easy but apart from some crazing it's in excellent condition.

Vintage Yellow Colourware Leaf Dish - Royal Venton - J. Steventon Ltd

Lovely old yellow colourware leaf dish from Royal Venton by John Steventon and Sons Ltd. The paintwork is all good although there's no black spot on the fruit. There is a small rough area on the underside of the rim where the glaze looks a little thin on the edge opposite the fruit but this is not visible from above and it is otherwise in excellent condition.
