Vintage Small Rose Elegant Plate - Royal Doulton

Small petit four plate from the Rose Elegans range, discontinued in 1981, by Royal Doulton. It does not have the blue band but does have an intact gold edge. There are two very short scratches, about 5mm long, one barely visible, the other across one of the leaves on the large rose head. This one has cut through the glaze and is visible. In all other respects the plate looks fine.

12.7cm

Miniature Cobalt Blue & Gold Plate with Fragonard Design - Limoges

Small cobalt blue plate with gold decoration, including the central image of a courting couple after Fragonard. It has the original brass mount and wire stand which does not appear ever to have been removed although the stand has been bent around a bit (not least by me in an attempt to get it to stand in the correct position. However the decoration does not appear to be damaged although as I am reluctant to remove it, I cannot guarantee this. In all other respects it is in excellent condition.

5cm diameter

Vintage large "Salad Ware" Plate - Carlton Ware

Large salad ware leaf dish by Carlton Ware with the "Australian" backstamp, dating it to between 1935 and 1961. There is an impressed pattern number that looks to be 1617/8. Very precise detail and good colour. It does have a small chip underneath one end of the "stalk" which isn't visible from above and it is crazed as one would expect. However the colours are clear and bright and it looks great otherwise.
