Lovely speckled beige trio with handpainted brown band around the rims of the flatware and the base of the cup. It's by the Carrigaline Pottery of Cork and is in excellent condition considering the pottery closed in 1979.

Vintage Large Green Celtic Mug - Arklow Pottery, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

Very large mug by the now defunct Arklow Pottery of Co. Wicklow, Eire. Very Celtic inspired design with lots of intertwining, knotting and plaiting. I feel I ought to know what the image is, maybe someone out there can enlighten me. Arklow went under in the late 1990s so these are becoming rare. Apart from a little staining on the inside bottom, that will remove with a bit of effort (I've cleaned it up quite a bit), it's in excellent condition. Very nice looking object.
