Vintage/antique
"Improved Inhaler". Large white earthenware bulb with cork stopper and
glass mouthpiece, used for treating asthma and other respiratory
ailments. These were produced for many years from the Victoria era
onwards and by several manufacturers. This one is unmarked and I cannot
age it accurately. The stopper is in most parts complete, only a
little has flaked away from the top and I have not removed it. I have
though slid out and cleaned the mouthpiece. This is complete and
undamaged bar a little wear around the crimped top part. The bulb is in
perfect condition.
