Vintage Plant Pot and Matching Saucer - Dragon Pottery?

SOLD

Matching plant pot and saucer set that is unmarked but is white earthenware and has a colourway and sgraffito pattern very reminiscent of those of the Dragon Pottery of Rhayader. Dragon, along with a few other potteries, also made ware marked for Dee Cee of the Midlands in the 1960s so it's entirely possible this could be one of theirs but I would be quite confident of the Dragon origin. The pot is a little stained and the saucer mildly crazed in the centre but it's still a fine looking piece

All measurements approx:
8cm high, 12.5cm wide pot diameter

Dee Cee Commissioned Small Swirl Pattern Vase - Dümler & Breiden

SOLD

Small vase in the familiar cream, green & brown swirl pattern used by the German company Dümler & Breiden. This one though bears the barely visble stamp of Dee Cee, a Birmingham importer owned by Mr Desmond Cooper who commissioned ware from many well known potteries both in the UK and abroad. Slight novelty in that it has an impressed fingerprint just under the rim but in all other respects it's fine.
Measurements: 8cm (h) x 7.5 cm

Vintage Large Wood Effect Jug - Dee Cee

Dee Cee imported or commissioned then rebadged items from many pottery manufacturers during the 1950s and 60s. This one I think is by Moira/Hillstonia or possibly Hartleys. It's a beautiful large stoneware jug in wood effect with barrel straps around it. It's in perfect condition, too.

16cm x 15cm
