Mid
sized fluted pitcher shaped fluted jug by Arthur Wood. It's a treacle
glaze and has a garland of wheat around the neck. Unfortunately it has a
hairline crack across the base, and annoyingly something I've just
noticed while writing this description. It runs from just to the left of
the "E" in England to the last "R" in Arthur and about halfway up the
"E" side. Unfortunately it does leak but it would look good as a dried
flower vase.

Vintage Gold Lustre Small Fluted Window Vase - 5039 - Arthur Wood
Pattern
5039 two handled fluted small window vase or table piece. It has a gold
lustre glaze but this is badly worn in places (that's not flash flare
in the photos) but strangely this doesn't really detract too much,
giving it a kind of patina. Will look fine in the right setting.

Vintage Art Deco Sefton Pattern Basket Fruit Bowl - Arthur Wood
SOLD
Large fruit bowl in a basket shape with beautiful handpainted floral pattern by Arthur Wood. The bowl is the "Sefton" shape and dates from the mid 1930s.It is adorned with pink, purple and yellow flowers with silver edging and lining over the handle. Although it is finely crazed, the crazing hasn't become ingrained with dust and grime (although there are a few paint spots here and there, easily removed) and the decoration is still gorgeously vibrant. It would make a fantastic centrepiece.

Set of Four Novelty Ceramic Coasters - Arthur Wood
This
is a set of four heavy china/ironstone tile coasters by Arthur Wood in
the "Back to Front Frog" design. They each
feature a straw boater wearing cartoon frog, two facing forwards and two
looking away. The backstamp is I think one used until the company was
acquired by Price & Kensington in 1989 but as ever this does not
necessarily provide an accurate date! In excellent condition but
someone
has affixed neoprene pads
to each corner which you may or may not wish to remove.

Retro 1960s Vase: Osel - Arthur Wood
Very nice brown vase in a retro 1960s/70s textured
pattern. It's marked "Osel" on the base which I believe may have been an
Arthur Wood design. There are one or two small and barely noticeable rub marks but otherwise
it's in excellent condition.
