Vintage Green Preserve Pot Poole Pottery

 

Simple green (not sure of the colour - tourquoise?) preserve pot from Poole Pottery. The backstamp dates it to between 1967 and 1972 but I'm not sure of the design. I suspect it may have had a lid at one time and that would have helped nail it down. It's in excellent condition.

Vintage Studio Pottery Stoneware Preserve Pot

Nice stoneware honey or jam pot. It's in a studio pottery style with slotted lid, yellow beige lid, top half and inside with what looks to be a leaf design. Nice pot in excellent condition.

Stoneware Studio Pottery Lidded Sugar Bowl or Preserve Pot

Beautiful studio pottery lidded sugar bowl or preserve pot in blue temmoku glaze, plain brown on the inside. The lid is different in that it sits on the pot quite precisely by virtue of a large groove. The centre of the underside of the lid has the same glaze, otherwise it's unglazed. On the top of the lid is an impresssion of what looks to be a cypress frond. There is a mark on the base, a painted A with a stroke across the top but I am unable to reference this. It is a very lovely looking pot and in superb condition.
