Very nice stoneware pot by Peter Arnold of the Alderney Pottery. It is quite squat with a speckled grey green glaze and an inscribed line around the shoulder crossed by two short diagonals. Peter Arnold established the pottery in 1961 but sadly passed away late last year. The pot is in excellent condition.
