Beautiful
little squat cup or handled bowl in a pink lustre finish by Carlton Ware. It has the
standard "script" backstamp that was for around 60 years until the late
1980s. However, this one is very fine, almost as if it's been written on
in pen and I have yet to come across one of this style. There is also a
"GC"
scratched into the base. There is some crazing, more visible on the
inside. I have a hunch it is pre WWII although I cannot for certain say
why! A lovely little item though and in very good condition.
