Large
round milk jug by H.J. Wood Ltd. It's cream coloured, with a hand
painted silver spout and alternating silver and green lines around the
top half. The handle is also detailed in silver. I have no idea of the
age and have had no success in identifying the pattern although the
stamp says, unusually "Great Britain" rather than
England (although the base is impressed "England"). There is a barely
visible hairline crack for about 1.5cm, a couple of cm to the right of
the handle (with the handle facing) but as far as I can see or feel this
is the only fault and otherwise it's a great looking jug.
