Rather
pretty hand painted hanging plate by Seva Ceramics of Rhodes, Greece.
It's green flowers and leaves all edged in 24ct gold. Unfortunately
there is a small chip to the edge, 3 o'clock in the photos. In normal
light this would barely notice but a keen hobbyist could disguise it
very well.
There are small areas of wear to the gilding eslewhere but nothing
serious and it remains a nice looking item. It is drilled in the foot
ring for hanging (and indeed does have a cord attached).
