Boxed
set of 6 small whiskey shot glasses, dating I suspect from the 1960s,
each with an identical decal of a Welsh "Jenny Jones" at a spinning
wheel with a mountain backdrop. They are in their original box, the card
mount of which bears the legend "Six Hand Decorated Welsh Whiskey
Glasses". I think hand decorated is a bit of a stretch as a description
although they do have gold rims and the decals were probably applied by
hand! Apart from a little wear to the rims they are in excellent
condition and the box and mounts, apart from being a little dusty, show
no wear.
